Mycora is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not require an account, and your identification history is stored only on your device.
Mycora ("the App") is developed by gguggulab. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.
When you use the identification feature, photos you take or select are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for analysis. These images are processed by Google to provide mushroom identification results. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
Photos are transmitted only when you actively tap the identify button. They are not collected or stored by gguggulab.
The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports. This helps us improve app stability and user experience. Data collected may include:
This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device information and use advertising identifiers to serve relevant ads. You can manage your ad preferences in your device's Settings under Privacy > Apple Advertising. See Google's Advertising Policy for details.
Your identification history (results, timestamps, and associated photos) is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is automatically removed when you delete the App. You can clear your history at any time from the Settings screen.
The App requests access to your camera and photo library solely for taking or selecting mushroom photos to identify. These permissions are optional and requested only when needed.
