Your scores and player names stay on your device. The App uses advertising, analytics, and crash-reporting services that may collect limited device and usage data.

Overview

Score Counter ("the App") is developed by gguggulab. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

Data Collection

The App and its service providers may collect the following categories:

Device identifiers used for advertising delivery, analytics, and app operation
Product interactions and other usage data used to understand feature use
Advertising data used to serve and measure ads
Approximate location inferred from network information
Crash, performance, and other diagnostic data used to maintain reliability

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or an account. We do not send player names, scores, game history, or other text you enter in the App to our analytics services.

How the App Works

All score tracking is performed entirely on your device. The App:

Stores game sessions and settings locally using on-device storage
Can perform its core scorekeeping functions without an internet connection
Does not require any account or sign-in
Displays banner ads and may display a full-screen ad after a confirmed score reset

Data Storage

Game sessions and app settings (theme, haptic preferences) are stored locally on your device within the App's sandbox. This data is automatically removed when you delete the App.

Third-Party Services

Score Counter uses the following services:

Google AdMob to serve and measure advertisements. Google may process device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate app usage and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
PostHog for limited, anonymous product analytics. Automatic screen capture, session replay, user profiles, surveys, feature flags, and error capture are disabled. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.

The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not use the collected data to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect names, contact details, player names, scores, or game history from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
