Signo: Signature Scanner
Effective for version 1.0.6
Last updated: August 3, 2026

Your signature and document content stays on your device. Signo processes imported photos, signatures, and documents locally and does not upload their content to a developer-operated server.

Overview

Signo: Signature Scanner (the “App”) is developed by gguggulab. This policy explains local file handling and the limited information processed by Firebase and Google Mobile Ads services included in the App.

Content Stored on Your Device

The App stores saved signatures, signature names and default selection, signed PDF files, document-history metadata, temporary imports while a signing session is active, and appearance settings inside the App’s iOS sandbox. Temporary imports are removed after a successful save, a confirmed discard, an import failure, or a later cleanup pass.

This local content is removed when you delete the App. Signo has no account system, cloud-sync feature, or developer-operated storage service for your signature or document content.

Camera, Photos, and Files

Camera and Photos access is requested only when you choose to photograph or select your own or an authorised handwritten signature or document image. Files access is initiated only when you choose a PDF or image from Files or iCloud Drive. The selected content is processed on-device for cropping, background cleanup, image-to-PDF conversion, signature placement, PDF creation, preview, and sharing.

Information Processed by Third-Party Services

Firebase Analytics

The App includes Firebase Analytics to understand basic app usage and improve the experience. Firebase may process app-instance or device identifiers, app and device information, approximate location derived from network information, and product-interaction data. Signo does not intentionally include signature pixels, document contents, filenames, signature names, or imported images in analytics events.

Firebase Crashlytics

The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and reliability problems. Crashlytics may process stack traces, diagnostic information, app state, device and operating-system information, and Analytics breadcrumb events. Signo does not intentionally attach signature pixels, document contents, filenames, or imported images to crash reports.

Google Mobile Ads

The App uses Google Mobile Ads to display banner and interstitial advertising. Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK may process IP address, device or app identifiers, advertising data, ad and product interactions, crash logs, and performance data for advertising, analytics, security, fraud prevention, frequency control, and service operation. Signo does not send signature or document content as an advertising payload.

Sharing

When you tap Share, iOS presents its system share sheet. A copy is sent only to the app or service you select, whose privacy practices then apply.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local signatures, signed documents, history, and settings remain until you delete them in the App or remove the App. Third-party service data is retained under Google’s service settings and policies. Because Signo has no account and does not receive your signature or document content, gguggulab generally cannot retrieve that local content for you.

Third-Party Documentation

Children’s Privacy

Signo is a general-audience document utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the App or its service providers change. The revision date and affected version will be updated on this page.
